This project will stabilize and restore approximately 1,400 feet of Turtle Creek, which is officially called Tributary 4 of Williamson Creek.

Overview

Erosion has damaged both residential and commercial properties. Plans call for a combination of grading and sloping the creek banks, limestone blocks and native vegetation along the banks. We will also use rocks in the creek to slow down and absorb the force of floodwaters. The project is divided into two locations:

  • Along backyards of Middleham Place, between Eberhart Lane and Turtle Creek Blvd.
  • Between properties near Stassney and Hummingbird Lanes
