Project update:

Currently, construction is happening in two areas east of IH-35:

Over water: the contractor is drilling and installing a long stretch of bridge piers. This work will continue through March.

On land: the contractor has nearly completed stone walls for the main trail and has begun building foundation piers for the trailhead bridges. Work should progress on the land sections of the trail near the AMLI project and under IH-35 in February.

The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2014.
