Two fixed base operators (FBOs) are located at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and provide general aviation terminals, hangars, maintenance, and fuel facilities. The instrumented 9,000-foot runway adjacent to both FBOs offers excellent airside access. (Pilots should use Taxiway “K” for ramp access to Atlantic Aviation Services, Inc., and Taxiway “L” for ramp access to Signature.)

T-hangars enhance general aviation facilities

T-hangars provide extra shelter for 54 aircraft in the general aviation area of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The hangars accommodate Group I size general aviation aircraft.

The importance of the hangars to the general aviation community was emphasized when all 54 spaces were reserved before hangar construction commenced.

Signature Flight Support manages the T-hangars as well as tie down spaces in their service area.

With the T-hangars and tie downs, the general aviation area now contains space for about 170 small aircraft.
