Compliments from an Austinite
Good day police chief Acevedo,
I hope you’re well. I’ve lived in Austin for approx. 32 years.
This is to let you know that I’ve always been impressed with the Austin police officers, from times they wrote me a citation, to the numerous times showed up at the residence of my sister who suffers from mental illness and psychotic episodes, to how compassionate they treated her and my family during those episodes. Not only did they know their job, but they were always professional, compassionate and had great bedside manner. Very impressive.
Recently I was stopped by officer D. Williams (Emp # AP7346). Here again the officer was very professional, friendly and knew his job. On top of that he was fair and reasonable and a great representation for your department to the public. My compliments to the officer. I appreciate him, you and your entire staff big time.
Thanks to all of you for what you do for this great city to keep it and us safe.
May your god bless you all.
