Ride along with Officer Ladd

Hello,

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for letting me ride with Officer Ladd. The professionalism I observed by Officer Ladd and the officers of the Austin PD during a very stressful situation made me extremely glad that I have applied with your police department.

Prior to my ride-along, Officer Ladd patiently showed me the different aspects of the Austin PD and was very complimentary of your department. He was very informative and patient while doing this.

During my ride-along, I watched Officer Ladd quickly respond to nearby gunshots he heard and handle the situation without any panic or confusion.  I was also given the opportunity to see your department handle a very bloody crime scene. Every officer was professional and knew exactly what they were doing.

Riding with Officer Ladd has me excited about applying with the Austin PD. I hope to join your police department sometime soon.
