Making A Difference

Sergeant Sandra Benningfield #2453 assisted with a traffic crash while she was off duty on her way home in Round Rock, Texas. Benningfield ensured no one was injured in the crash and remained on scene for several minutes providing traffic control until a Round Rock Police officer arrived on scene. Benningfield returned to the scene after going home to provide water to the officer on scene and parties involved in the collision. Benningfield went above and beyond what is expected to ensure the safety and comfort of three individuals involved in the crash, even when she was on her way home from work and out of her primary jurisdiction.
