The FY 2017-18 Public Engaement Report presents the results from the FY 2017-18 Budget public engagement process, including the Budget Priority Survey report, Austin Budget Simulator 2.0 exercise results, and town hall meeting results.

The Budget Simulator will remain open at this time to allow interested residents to continue engaging with the tool and learning about the City of Austin's Budget. Please note that responses received after July 15th, 2017, will not be included in the FY 2018 Public Engagement Report.
The City of Austin Budget Office is seeking resident input and feedback on city services and your budget priorities to be used in the budget development process. To have your voice heard, complete the online Austin Budget Simulator tool. We hope you enjoy Austin Budget Simulator and will share the activity with your friends.
The Austin Budget Simulator will be available until July 15th, 2017. Results from the exercise will be compiled and presented to City Council. The FY 2017-18 Public Engagement Report will be available to the public here and at Austin Finance Online in August 2017.

There are many other ways to get involved and participate in the City's budget process. We will be hosting a Reddit: Ask Me Anything event on May 8th at 10:00am. You can also speak at a Public Hearing on the budget or tax rate, attend a Board and Commission meeting, or send your comments to us directly by emailing BudgetQA@austintexas.gov or by calling us at 512-974-1380.
