These occur three ways, through permitting prescribed fire use, through supporting partner agencies and departments with resources to implement prescribed burns and through planning and conducting prescribed burns. The ability to conduct prescribed burns as dependent upon external variables such as climate, smoke management issues, land management entities objectives and resource availability.
