Small and Minority Business Resources Approved Amount: $ 0 Approved FTE: 0.00 Department Director: Veronica Lara - Director Department Website: http://www.austintexas.gov/department/small-and-minority-business Department Phone: 512-974-7600 Performance Measure Information Name: Number of violations issued Description: Counselors should report a concern of a violation in the following cases: • If a person has provided false or misleading information in connection with the submission of a Bid, responses to requests for qualifications or Proposals, Good Faith Efforts documentation, post-award compliance, or other program operations. • Substituting M/WBE Subcontractors without first receiving approval for such substitutions. • Bid shopping. • Contract changes made without an approved Request for Change. • If a person has engaged in any other violations of the Ordinance, including suspicion of M/WBE pass-through firms. SMBR staff is required to report violations of the Ordinance and Rules to Management in order for the appropriate action to be taken.
