Community Engagement

Austin is committed to fully involving the community in decisions that may affect them, whether that's through City Council meetings, participation in boards and commissions, social media or community dialogues.

We know your time is valuable, and continue to develop meaningful new ways to get involved that work with Austinites' busy schedules. A cornerstone of these efforts is the City's multi-week CityWorks Academy program and our AustinCorps partnership with the Austin Independent School District.
