Down Payment Assistance
The Down Payment Assistance Program (DPA) provides eligible homebuyers, with a zero interest loan to assist with buying a home in the Austin City Limits. DPA funds the down payment and eligible closing costs and pre-paid expenses.
Homebuyer Education
Housing Counseling Program offers Home-buyer Education for first time home-buyers, post-purchase classroom instruction for homeowners and one-on-one budget and credit counseling.

LeadSmart Program
The City of Austin has received a $2.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to perform lead hazard reduction to approximately 150 homes within Austin city limits. View more information here.
