Established in the 1870s, the historic Mayfield Cottage and Gardens is home to colorful gardens, towering palm trees, brilliant showy peacocks and ponds that are home to delicate water lilies. Soft exterior lighting, created when moonlight peeks through the trees, creates a suitable setting for evening events.

Reservations
Mayfield Cottage and Gardens may be rented for small- to medium-sized events including:
- Business conferences
- Weddings and other social gatherings
- Workshops and retreats
It is not recommended for theater events, large concerts or events that require temporary installation of hardware and structures within the gardens and cottage.
While the cottage and gardens are reserved for functions, these areas are closed to the public. However, the nature preserve, which is immediately adjacent to Mayfield Cottage and Gardens (outside the stone wall), is open to the public.
