Responsibilities

The Parking Enterprise manages on-street parking to balance the needs for residents, businesses and visitors to our city, while promoting compliance with all City parking ordinances.

In addition, this division regulates all ground transportation service providers such as taxicab, limousine, charter, shuttle, airport shuttle, pedicab and horse-drawn carriage companies, assuring that both the companies and the drivers comply with City Codes.

Hours of Enforcement

Downtown  (IH-35 to Lamar Boulevard, and Lady Bird Lake to 10th Street):

Monday- Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Thursday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 Midnight

Saturday, 11 a.m. to 12 Midnight.

Outside of downtown:

Monday- Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Parking meters are not enforced on City Holidays.
