The Public Works Department Pedestrian Program is responsible for repairing and adding miles of sidewalks around the City of Austin. The Americans with Disabilities Act is a driving factor in making sure that the right-of-way along our streets is safe and accessible for all, but there also are projects being built for transportation and recreational use.
