Each year, Austin Animal Services provides shelter for over 20,000 displaced pets in the Austin/Travis County area.

In order to find adoptive homes for these cats and dogs, the shelter takes “Pets to the People” and showcases these animals in venues around Central Texas. All pets are spayed or neutered, micro chipped, and current on vaccines. While adoption fees are not charged at these events, a donation is requested to offset the care of the animals.
