In the City of Austin, smoking is not allowed in public places, including the airport, city parks, libraries, buses or within 25 feet of any pedestrian entrance. At the Barbara-Jordan terminal there are designated smoking areas at the east and west ends of the terminal, located 25 feet from the pedestrian entrances.
