The APD Region III (Central East) District Representatives are working with Code Compliance and Neighborhood Associations in the LBJ and Colony Park Neighborhoods to address quality of life issues.
During the months of February and March, the district representatives will be out in the neighborhoods meeting the residents and addressing citizen concerns. Warnings will be given for City Ordinance and Code violations like abandoned/junk vehicles, parking violations on the street, front and side yard parking, and other code violations that are observed.
The district representatives will conduct follow-ups in an effort to gain compliance. Citations will follow in April for non-compliance.
In the two weeks that the district representatives have been out in the LBJ Neighborhood, they have made verbal contact with 13 people and given out 34 warnings. Additionally, they have provided residents with crime prevention information. In the coming weeks, officers will be conducting the same evaluation in the Colony Park area.
