The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is requesting the community’s assistance with identifying two suspects involved in the aggravated robbery that occurred on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 2:13 p.m. at the Rite Care Pharmacy located at 3706 Guadalupe St. The two suspects, pictured and described below, entered the business. One suspect stood by the door while the other jumped the counter into the work area. The suspect pulled a gun on the employees and directed them to lie face down on the floor as he demanded opioids. The two suspects fled the scene after learning the pharmacy did not carry them. The store employees were physically unharmed.
 
The suspects are described as:
 
Suspect #1 is described as:

• White male
• Estimated to be between 6’-6’2”
• Slender build
• Approximately 20-25 years old
• Last seen wearing a black hoodie with orange stripe running down each arm and across the chest, black “track pants with Nike swoop on left lower leg and white top shoes.

 Suspect #2 is described as:

• White male

• Estimated to be between 6’-6’2”
• Approximately 20-25 years old
• Last seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie, light colored “track pants” with elastic around the ankles and white high top shoes.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this case to call the APD Robbery tip line at (512) 974-5092, Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS, submit a tip on the Crime Stoppers website or use the Crime Stoppers app. All information is anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
