Austin police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a second suspect in an injury to an elderly case that occurred on November 10, 2018. Several subjects from Defend our Hoodz were protesting an art exhibit in the 1600 block of S. Pleasant Valley Rd. around 11:51 a.m. The victim, a 68-year-old male, left the exhibit and the subjects surrounded him on the sidewalk. The first suspect, Benjamin Paul-Jordan Weir, was arrested on scene for assaulting the elderly male.
