The Austin Police Department’s (APD) Aggravated Assault Unit is requesting public assistance with identifying a suspect who was involved in a shooting. The incident occurred at the El Pollo Rico at 9435 N IH 35 SVRD on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. The suspect approached the victim from behind and fired one round into the victim’s back. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

-     Hispanic or Middle Eastern male
-     In his late teens or early 20s
-     White T-shirt
-     Dark pants
-     White shoes
-     Chinstrap style beard
-     Right arm has tattoo sleeve 
-     Tattoo on upper left arm
-     Appears to be left-handed
