Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for April 2016 was 1,028,337 up 7.5% compared to April 2015. April 2016 enplanements totaled 517,976, up 7%. Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 395,713, up 15% compared to April 2015; American Airlines passengers totaled 205,322, up 17%; United Airlines passengers totaled 164,181, up 2.5%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 134,151, up 11%; jetBlue Airways passengers totaled 41,378, down 4%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 23,350, down 12%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 20,790, up 99%; Virgin America passengers totaled 14,500, down 1.5%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 12,970, up 51.5%; British Airways passengers totaled 11,092, up 12%; Air Canada passengers totaled 3,549; and Texas Sky passengers totaled 131, down 55.5%.
April 2016 air cargo totaled 15,437,873 lbs., up 7% compared to April 2015. International air cargo totaled 2,739,619 lbs., down 3.5%. Federal Express carried 8.7 million lbs., up 19%; and United Parcel Service carried 2.1 million lbs., down 9.5%.
Air Services transferred 210,257 lbs. of mail, down 52%; and 1,495,666 lbs. of belly freight, up 0.3%.
Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 4,098, down 14%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 15,668, down 3%.
January – April 2016
Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for January – April YTD was 3,807,256, up 9%, compared to January – April 2015. January – April 2016 enplanements totaled 1,893,454, up 9%. Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 1,489,792, up 17%; American Airlines passengers totaled 771,938, up 26.5%; United Airlines passengers totaled 607,091, up 2%; Delta Air Lines passengers 469,342, up 8%; jetBlue Airways passengers totaled 174,250, down 1%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 72,845, up 5.5%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 64,717, up 65%; Virgin America passengers totaled 54,400, up 1%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 46,969, up 46%; British Airways passengers totaled 39,503, up 9.5%; Air Canada passengers totaled 12,663; and Texas Sky passengers totaled 487, down 53%.
April YTD (January – April 2016) air cargo totaled 54,404,865 lbs., up 5% compared to April 2015. International air cargo totaled 6,027,582 lbs., down 18%. Federal Express carried 32.6 million lbs., up 15%; and United Parcel Service carried 8.3 million lbs., down 11%.
Air Services transferred 1,173,680 lbs. of mail, down 35%; and 5,651,214 lbs. of belly freight, down 14.5%.
Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 17,076 for January – April YTD, down 1.5%. Combined operations (including Commercial and military) totaled 62,399, up 4.5%.
