Austin Water will hold its first public workshop on Water Forward—Austin's Integrated Water Resource Plan (IWRP)—Wednesday, September 7, 6-8:30 p.m. at 625 East 10th Street, Room 104. Water Forward is a collaborative effort led by Austin Water to provide a 100-year water supply and demand management plan for the City.
During the workshop background on the IWRP, the plan mission statement and guiding principles will be provided. It will also be an opportunity for the community to provide comments on the goals and objectives that will be used in the plan development.
Water Forward is supported by the Austin Integrated Water Resource Planning Community Task Force, which is made up of Mayor and Council appointees and representatives from various City departments.
