The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is working in conjunction with the FBI Central Texas Robbery Task Force to investigate a bank robbery that occurred Friday, January 18, 2019 at approximately 10:27 a.m. The robbery suspect entered the Prosperity Bank and demanded money from a teller. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen walking northbound on Research Blvd.

APD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying this suspect. Images and a description are provided below.

Suspect described as:

• White male
• 5’ 5”
• 30 – 40 years of age
• Heavy set
• Bald/shaved head
• Last seen wearing a grey zip-up hoodie, white t-shirt, khaki shorts, and black “skater style” shoes with high white socks
• Carrying a red and white HEB bag
