Arrested: Joseph Cadena, Hispanic male, 34 years of age

The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is working in conjunction with the FBI Central Texas Robbery Task Force to investigate a bank robbery that occurred Friday, January 25, 2019 at approximately 4:25 p.m. The robbery suspect, Joseph Cadena, entered the Bank of America and demanded money from a teller. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen walking westbound on E. 39th Street.

Cadena was taken into custody by the Lonestar Fugitive Task Force with assistance from APD robbery detectives on February 16, 2019.
