City of Austin administrative offices and other municipal facilities will be closed Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Normal business hours will resume Tuesday, Nov. 12.

 
Closures include all City Council offices.

All Austin Public Library branches will be closed Sunday, Nov. 10 and Monday, Nov. 11 and will resume operations on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Most Austin Parks and Recreation facilities, including recreation centers, senior centers, year-round pools, golf courses, and tennis centers, will operate at normal hours. For full information go to austintexas.gov/parkclosures. Museums and cultural centers will be closed on Veterans Day.

Trash, recycling, compost, and yard trimmings collection for Austin Resource Recovery residential collection customers will remain on regular schedule. The Recycle and Reuse Drop-Off Center (formerly the Resource Recovery Center and the Household Hazardous Waste Facility) will be open normal business hours.

The Austin Animal Center will be open as normal from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11.
