Everyone should have the chance to make choices that lead to a long and healthy life regardless of background, education or income. Good health begins at home, in our neighborhoods, at our schools and work places. Join us for a community health public forum to learn more about steps being taken to increase well-being and improve quality of life.
Why: The forum will have an open house format with interactive areas where attendees can share their opinions on:
What makes them healthy
What makes their neighborhood healthy or unhealthy
Suggestions to improve the health of their community
Who: Partners hosting the forum include Austin Public Health, Travis County Health and Human Services, Central Health, St. David’s Foundation, Seton Healthcare Family, Austin/Travis County Integral Health Care, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health Austin Regional Campus, City of Austin Transportation Department, Capital Metro, and Dell Medical School.
