The Austin Strategic Mobility Plan is nearing the finish line! As Boards and Commissions continue to consider recommendations for the ASMP through March, City Council has set their date to hold a public hearing on the plan before considering it for adoption. Community members are encouraged to attend this public hearing to have their opinions heard on the future of transportation in Austin. The time, date, and location of the hearing is below.
City Council – Public Hearing
Austin City Hall, 301 W 2nd St, Austin, TX 78701
Thursday, March 28 (time to be determined)
In case you haven’t had a chance to check out the final draft of the plan yet, please head on over to the ASMP website. The final draft includes a policy document to guide our decisions, action items to get us to our goals, and indicators to help us measure our progress, as well as final draft maps of how the ASMP will impact our transportation network.
Continued Opportunity for Input
Community members still have a couple weeks left to share feedback on the ASMP through several of the City’s Boards and Commissions. These meetings are a way for your feedback to be heard in a public setting and to be considered by those bodies as they make their recommendations to City Council. Stop by and give your opinion at the meetings listed below.
