Starting the week of Feb. 6, northbound Kramer Lane will be reduced by one lane between Metric and Burnet between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday thru Friday. The lane reduction is expected to be in place for three to four months while construction begins on the Kramer Lane Multi-Use Trail Project.
The project will construct an off-street, multi-use trail on Kramer Lane between Metric Boulevard and Burnet Road, providing a safe route for pedestrians and bicyclists traveling between nearby employment centers, existing and future bike routes. Additionally, it will improve access to the bus stop and Kramer Lane MetroRail station and provide additional shade trees along Kramer Lane. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to follow all warning/detour signs and refrain from crossing orange safety fence or barricade lines.
