AUSTIN, Texas - MAD Greens opened early November of this year here at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, offering a wide mixture of healthy, fast options for travelers to build their own salad or order one of the restaurant’s signature choices.
Serving a variety of salads, wraps, grain bowls, as well as child-friendly options such as a pita grilled cheese, MAD Greens’ goal is to make customers feel as healthy as possible while traveling.
Eight fresh salad options, including the Mad Caesar, Siam I Am, Don Quixote, and Pomona will be sure to fill you up. Beyond the signature salad options, customers can build their own mouth-watering salads with ingredients ranging from tofu, grilled chicken, and bacon to fresh cut apples, Kalamata olives, feta cheese, and slices of avocado.
Three different grain bowls, the BBQ Bowl, Buddha Bowl, and the Southwest Bowl, offer tasty ingredients such as a wild rice blend served with tofu or chicken and a touch of dressing. MAD Greens also serves made to order, fresh-squeezed, detoxing juices and other grab-and-go beverage options.
Decorated in a palette of eggplant, celery green, and wood tones match its vibrant and healthy menu, MAD Greens is located near Gate 16 is open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is operated by airport concessionaire Paradies Lagardère.
