An arrest has been made in the murder of Dennis Stoneburner. Cornell Loving, 49, was taken into custody on October 27, 2018 by the Lonestar Fugitive Taskforce. Mr. Loving is currently facing charges for parole violation and first degree murder. His bond has been set at $500,000.
 
The investigation into Mr. Stoneburner’s death is ongoing. Background Information
At approximately 5:58 p.m. on October 3, 2018, Austin police responded to an urgent disturbance call at 9133 Northgate Blvd. Upon arrival officers found the victim, Dennis Stoneburner, with obvious trauma to his body. He was transported by EMS to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in serious condition.
 
According to witnesses, Dennis Stoneburner was involved in a physical disturbance during which time he sustained significant injuries. The cause of the disturbance is unknown at this time.
 
Mr. Stoneburner died on Friday, October 19, 2018. While the final autopsy results are pending, it appears that he died from trauma-related complications.
