Deceased:   Nicole Diane Coleman, a white female, born in March 1995

On December 31 at approximately 5:36 p.m., Austin 911 received a call of a body found in the woods.  Austin Police, Fire and EMS arrived on scene.  There they located the body of a nude female with obvious trauma and who appeared to be deceased.  EMS received pronouncement at 5:49 p.m. by Dr. Escott.
 
Homicide investigators were called to the scene. They spoke with witnesses and are continuing their investigation. Limited information is being released to maintain the integrity of the investigation.
 
The Travis County Medical Examiner has ruled this death a homicide. The manner of death is being withheld for investigative purposes at this time.
