On New Year’s Eve and Day, between the hours of 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. there were thirty-eight DWI arrests made during the “No Refusal” initiative. 

Sixteen individuals refused to give a sample of their breath or blood.  After a judge signed a search warrant 16 individuals had their blood drawn.  Two individuals provided a blood sample voluntarily and three individuals had blood mandatorily withdrawn.  All are included in the results.

Approximately 53% of all persons arrested were at least twice the legal limit.
