The Austin Parks & Recreation Department's (PARD) executive team has decided to suspend registration for Nature and Adventure Camps at this time. Our vendor experienced a system-wide outage this morning. Registration for all camps will be delayed 1 week resulting in this new schedule:

• Nature and Adventure Camps' registration will re-open on Saturday, February 15 at 12:00 PM for Austin residents and 2:00 PM for Non-Residents for any remaining spots;
• Cultural Arts and Therapeutic Summer Camps' registration will remain on Saturday, February 15 at 10:00 AM for Austin residents and 1:00 PM for Non-Residents;
• Community Recreation Summer Camps' will remain on Saturday, February 22 at 10:00 AM for Austin residents and 1:00 PM for Non-Residents.

The Department will release a memo to Mayor and Council on Monday, February 10 that explains what registration issues occurred. Additionally, the Department will provide background information on registration preparation.

PARD cannot apologize enough for the frustration Austinites have faced this morning. It is unacceptable, and the Department will do its best to make sure this does not happen again.
