Give your input about the use of land for a major league soccer stadium.
AUSTIN, TEXAS – The public is invited to participate in Information Sessions and community conversations regarding the potential of a major league soccer stadium at 10414 McKalla Place, a publicly owned tract of land.
The Information Sessions will be held on May 8 beginning at 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the Northwest Recreation Center, 2913 Northland Dr, and on May 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Montopolis Recreation Center, 1200 Montopolis Dr. The events are free and open to all, with free parking available onsite.
Austin City Council passed Resolution No. 20180322-099 on March 22, 2018, directing staff to initiate and complete a community engagement process and provide a detailed analysis of 10414 McKalla Place with a report to the Austin City Council no later than June 1.
The City of Austin is asking for input from the community regarding the use of land for a major league soccer stadium at 10414 McKalla Place, a 24-acre piece of publicly owned land. Input given will help the City determine the community benefits that should be considered when entering into a partnership for a project, such as this opportunity at McKalla Place.
