AUSTIN, Texas – ViaAir celebrated its new nonstop service from Austin’s South Terminal to Tulsa, Okla. on Monday, May 7, 2018. Inaugural ceremonies included a live music performance by Jenny Reynolds, a ribbon cutting, cake and remarks from airline and airport officials. The Austin to Tulsa route marks the fifth nonstop added by ViaAir since December.
Tickets are now available for purchase at www.flyviaair.com. The flight will operate six days a week, Sunday – Friday between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport’s South Terminal (AUS) and Tulsa International Airport (TUL) in Tulsa, Okla. The ViaAir nonstop service from AUS to TUL will depart Austin’s South Terminal at 4:02 p.m. and arrive in Tulsa at 5:14 p.m. Flights will depart Tulsa at 5:49 p.m. and arrive at Austin’s South Terminal at 7:13 p.m. All times are local.
“Via is quickly expanding their service in Austin, linking the Live Music Capitol of the World to more new destinations,” said Jim Smith, Executive Director, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Along with new service to Tulsa, ViaAir’s nonstop options from Austin include Little Rock, Arkansas (LIT), Oklahoma City (OKC), Tucson, Arizona (TUS), seasonal service to Branson, Missouri (BKG) and winter seasonal flights to Steamboat Springs / Hayden, Colorado (HDN).
