Property For Lease: Red River Retail Space
The City of Austin is soliciting proposals from prospective tenants for a 14,890 square foot street level retail space located within the City-owned parking garage at 601 East 5th Street, also known as the "5th Street Parking Garage". This garage serves the Austin Convention Center, and includes another street-level space leased to the Austin Visitors Center. The space currently available for lease is located along Red River Street between 4th and 5th Streets. The full unfinished retail space can be leased as one large space, or as up to three individually leased spaces.
The opening date for proposal considerations was June 5, 2014. The City of Austin will continue to receive proposals from prospective tenants until a successful respondent has been selected for recommendation to City Council. Submission instructions are in the Lease Solicitation documents below.
