Garry is an Austin native and has been a PGA golf professional teaching the game since 1978. He has won numerous STPGA tournaments and has played professionally around the country.
PGA Head Golf Professional
Steve has been with the Austin Public Links since 1995 and obtained his PGA professional status in 2001. He was very involved with the development of the Austin Junior Golf Academy and designed the current player development Range Grinder program.
Teaching golf at the Jimmy Clay/Roy Kizer facility for over 12 years, Wes has helped thousands of Austin golfers improve their games. "We focus on fixing the problems, not the symptoms" is his motto.
PGA Apprentice Professional
Erik played golf on full scholarship and has been teaching golf for over 7 years. He "takes what you have and uses it to your advantage" to help golfers improve.
David has been a fixture in Austin golf, teaching the game for over 35 years and working 30 years with Lloyd Morrison at Hancock and Lions Golf Courses.
Doug has been teaching at the Austin Public Links for over 14 years. His philosophy is "fundamentals first to build a repeating golf swing".
Influenced by Harvey Penick and Dave Pelz, Mike has been teaching since 1991. His philosophy is "simplicity first, always mindful that everyone learns differently, I formulate a plan geared to fit the individual student".
