Mayor Leffingwell: Good morning. I want to call this special meeting of the austin city council to order. We're meeting in the council chambers austin city hall, 1 west second street, austin, texas. We will now take up item number 1 to approve an ordinance adopting and levys a property or ad valorem tax for city of austin for fiscal year 2010-2011. This motion must be made using the words required by the texas property tax code. The tax code also requires the vote to be -- vote on this motion to be a roll call vote. And my understanding is that councilmember spelman will not be here today so we are proceeding with six councilmembers which I assume is okay. So the floor is open for a motion.

Mayor Leffingwell: Motion by councilmember cole. Is there a second? Seconded by the mayor pro tem. Is there any discussion on this item?
