Austin Water has a five-tier volume charge. The zero –2,000 gallon tier is the lowest and most affordable with the following tiers being progressively more expensive as water consumption increases beyond 2,000, 6,000, 11,000 and 20,000 gallons per month. The more you use, the more you pay per (1,000) gallon. However, the more you conserve, the more you save!
Conserve water as much as possible and keep your water consumption at the lowest possible tier, saving you the most amount of money.
