Austin Public Health promotes and protects the health of the community through the use of best practices and community collaboration. Austin Public Health’s Information Systems Office supports Health Information Technology for a variety of public health areas such as Community Services, Disease Prevention/Health Promotion, Environmental Health, and Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health.
These services include 51 community programs that utilize many specialized Health Information Technology systems hosted internally and through strategic partnerships.
