APD Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information about the murder of Samuel Jones. Mr. Jones was found dead in his apartment at 909 Reinli St. on April 1, 2010. Witnesses heard a shot several days before and two black males were seen fleeing the area moments later. It is unknown at this time what their involvement was. Mr. Jones lived with his wife Christine Jones in the apartment.
Detectives are also looking for a witness described as a: Hispanic Male 40-50 years old Light colored eyes
Spanish appears to be his primary language. He is homeless and is known to spend the nights around the sheds behind the IHOP at Koenig Lane and IH 35.
