Green Business is Good Business!
By resolving to go green, local businesses can help protect the environment, save money, and make Austin a more livable place. Many strive to make sustainability a key part of day-to-day operations by reducing waste, using alternative transportation, conserving water and energy, offering employee health programs, and giving back to the community.
This year 35 businesses have been recognized for their sustainability efforts as part of the Austin Green Business Leaders program at the following achievement levels:

Launched in April of 2012, the Austin Green Business Leaders program has recognized 184 businesses representing nearly 14,000,000 square feet of office space and 29,680 employees. Collectively, they are helping make Austin greener!
