In addition, ACD Exploring has partnered with Austin Community College (ACC) and the Early College High School (ECHS) Program. The ECHS offers students the opportunity to graduate from high school with an associate degree as well.

In addition to earning college credit—up to 60 hours—and preparing for future professions, students save thousands of dollars in college costs (AISD’s website claims $12k in savings.) ECHS students are enrolled in both high school and college classes and receive support from AISD and ACC staff to ensure that they are on the right track to a successful college career. ECHS operates at seven AISD Early College High Schools: Akins, Crockett, Eastside Memorial, Navarro, LBJ, Travis and Northeast.
High school students may apply by filling out the youth application form.
