The purpose of the Peer Panel Review Process is to ensure fairness in reviewing cultural funding applications, as well as a consistent quality of arts & cultural programming supported by the City of Austin. To accomplish this, the Cultural Arts Division utilizes consultants as panelists who demonstrate expertise in a given area.

Wanted: Peer Review Panelists

The Cultural Arts Division is seeking panelists to review applications for art projects in the Cultural Funding Program and the Art in Public Places (AIPP) Program. All artistic disciplines are needed for the Cultural Funding Program and a variety of visual arts professionals with various visual arts expertise are needed for the AIPP Program. The Cultural Funding Program panels will meet in June and July while the AIPP panels will meet as needed when new calls are sent out. Cultural Funding Program recipients and artists funded through AIPP are encouraged to apply. A stipend is offered for your service.
