Ryan Runcie, Runcie Studios

Ryan is a first-generation American artist whose inspirations come from his study of philosophical beliefs and how we relate to the world around us. His large-scale murals are heavily community-focused, with the intent to leave behind social and racial reconciliation. He graduated from Texas State University with his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2016 and now has many private works collected across the United States and public murals throughout Texas. His client list includes Austin FC, The Moody Center, Starbucks, The City of San Marcos, Capital Metro, Austin Energy, Riversouth Austin, Abbott Laboratories, and more.

Jonathan 'Chaka' Mahone, Founder/Director at DAWA (Diversity Awareness and Wellness in Action), Owner/Founder/Creative Director for NefrFreshr

Jonathan 'Chaka' Mahone, well known in Austin, TX, for his hip hop group Riders Against the Storm (RAS) with his wife Qi Dada, is also an accomplished painter and designer. He considers himself a 'visualist,' using his art as a social change and empowerment tool. Influenced by graffiti and indigenous art, Chaka's work combines spiritual, social, and political elements, blending native and modern urban energy together. Beyond performance and design, Chaka founded the innovative non-profit, DAWA (Diversity Awareness and Wellness in Action) in 2019, to support BIPOC creatives, teachers, social workers, healthcare providers, and service industry workers. The organization offers direct financial assistance, a free studio, affordable event space, and more to the BIPOC community of Austin.

Michael Anthony García, artist, Los Outsiders

Multidisciplinary artist & independent curator Michael Anthony García, claiming both Mexican and US citizenship, is based in Austin, Texas, and predominantly focuses his practice around photography/ video, sculpture/ installation & performance. He is a founding member of Los Outsiders curatorial collective & has curated large-scale exhibitions of international artists, in & out of the US.  Notably, he has had solo curatorial projects for Mexic-arte Museum, Texas State University Galleries, the gallery at the Austin Central Public Library and Fusebox Festival. He participated in the 2011 Texas Biennial and has won awards both for his curatorial and 3D work.
