About the Event/Permits/Park Access:

• This event charges a fee to participate in the athletic component of the event.  Public viewing is free and open to the public.
• Amplified Sound:  Amplified sound has been permitted at this event.
• Park Access:  Partially Open - greater than 50% available without a ticket and unfenced.
• The shores parking lots are closed for event load in prior to and through the event.
• Expect a high amount of traffic in the waterfront area north of the park in the early morning hours of Memorial Day.

• Suggested Alternative Park Use Areas:  Vic Mathias Shores Middle lawn, Shores off leash area, Zilker Park Great Lawn

• Safety fencing will be erected as part of the event and will close the park and parking lot to regular public access.

Alternative Routes for Traffic:

North/South: MoPac Loop 1; Lamar Blvd; I-35.  Congress Ave has lane reductions, so some delays are expected.
East/West: Riverside Dr. to Barton Springs Rd.;  11th St.; 15th St.
