Join us for a special "That's My Face" double-feature film screening that examines the 2023 Black History Month Theme - "Black Resistance". Screening in the Boyd Vance Theatre will be "The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks" and "The Woman King" with community conversation/Q&A facilitated by UT academics after films. Pre-registration is required.
"That's My Face" is a community film series that features works that explore the diversity of Black experiences. Full-length narrative films, documentaries, shorts, and animated works screened during the series explore various social, political, and cultural themes. Films are screened in the Boyd Vance Theater or Drive-in style on the Carver's Freedom Plaza. Event is for adults ages 18 and up.
