The Austin Police Department’s Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying potential witnesses or information related to a shooting that occurred on September 26, 2019, at approximately 1:48 a.m. On this date, the victim was walking on a sidewalk near the 1500 block of Rutland Drive when an unknown suspect shot him from behind.
