The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is working in conjunction with the FBI Central Texas Violent Crime Task Force to investigate a bank robbery that occurred on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Compass Bank located at 321 West 6th Street. The suspect entered the bank, displayed a note to the teller and left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen heading southbound on Lavaca Street. No injuries were reported.

Suspect described as:

• White male
• 5’6”
• Approximately 180 lbs.
• Medium build
• Mid 40s
• Last seen wearing a one sling backpack, gray colored ball cap, gray shirt, blue hospital arm sling and blue jeans
