Deceased:   White male – release of identity pending next of kin notification

The preliminary investigation shows a grey, 2009 Infinity EX35 was traveling westbound in the 7200 block of E. Ben White Boulevard when the driver left the roadway for an unknown reason and slammed into an 18 wheeler that was stopped on the shoulder. The semi’s trailer caught on fire as did the Infinity.

The driver of the Infinity was pronounced deceased on scene. The truck driver was not injured.
